Q: What are the check-in/check-out times?
A: Check-in is from 15.00 – 20.00, and check-out is by 10.00. If you need flexibility, please let us know and we’ll do our best to help.
Q: Where is key collection?
A: The hut has a secure key box and the code will be be sent via email/text message 24hrs prior to your stay!
Q: Is parking available?
A: Yes, there is private parking available close to the hut..
Q: Are towels and bed linen provided?
A: Yes, fresh bed linen, towels and bath mat are provided for your stay.
Q: Is the hut suitable for children?
A: The hut is designed as a romantic retreat for two adults. Please can contact us if you wish to bring a babe in arms prior to booking.
Q: Are pets welcome?
A: Due to livestock on site, especially during lambing, pets are not welcome.
Q: Can I touch/feed the animals?
A: We ask that you do not touch or feed the animals without permission, as some foods can be harmful and animals can be unpredictable. For safety, avoid entering fields. If you’d like to meet some of the animals, please ask — we’ll do our best to arrange.
Q: Is Wi-Fi available?
A: Due to the location of the hut, there is no Wi-Fi available giving you the opportunity to switch off and unwind.
Q: Can I get a mobile signal?
A: Yes, mobile signal is available but the signal can be weak depending on service provider.
Q: What cooking facilities are available?
A: The hut includes essential cooking facilities for preparing simple meals during your stay. Includes: microwave, two-ring gas hob, utensils, crockery, pans. There is a fridge, toaster, coffee machine, kettle with tea, sugar, milk and coffee provided. Salt, pepper and cooking oil is also provided
Q: Are parties permitted?
A: No, this is a quiet and peaceful retreat.
Q: Is smoking permitted?
A: Our hut is strictly non-smoking and vaping indoors. However, you are welcome to smoke outside, as long as all cigarettes are fully extinguished and disposed of in the bins provided.
Q: Are fireworks permitted?
A: Fireworks are strictly prohibited, we need to ensure the safety of the livestock.
